It doesn’t make much sense, but supposedly the Department of Homeland Security is getting prepared for raging pro-lifers if Roe v. Wade is eventually overturned, according to an Axios report.

Axios claims they have obtained a memo from DHS claiming that threats have been underway since the leak of the Supreme Court opinion.

“…targeting Supreme Court Justices, lawmakers and other public officials, as well as clergy and health care providers — "are likely to persist and may increase leading up to and following the issuing of the Court’s official ruling."

Okay, this seems likely from the rabid baby-killers on the left, but that’s not what they’re worried about.

"Some racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists’ embrace of pro-life narratives may be linked to the perception of wanting to 'save white children' and 'fight white genocide,'" the memo also says.

Statistically black women have the highest abortion ratio in the U.S., with 474 abortions per 1,000 live births. Ending abortion would be saving more black children than white children. So perhaps the DHS is misinformed or the reporting is slanted.

Axios sums it up towards the end.

The Roe decision is flypaper for extremists. The memo, along with communications between government and the private sector, show how multiple agencies are mobilizing to try to get ahead of ahead of civil unrest.

This seems reasonable, but fails to mention that these extremists will be from the left.

Just as they did in the past, I’m sure the media will characterize all leftist fueled fires and violence as “mostly peaceful.”
