The Professional Disc Golfer’s Association (PDGA) is coming back to its senses.

In recent months, the PDGA celebrated golfer Natalie Ryan, a man masquerading as a woman who was raking in thousands after competing in several major women’s tournaments across the country. Unsurprisingly, it took Ryan very little time to ascend to the top five of the female division, and he clearly had numerous physical advantages over women from the get go.

After seeing the horrendously negative effects of allowing a man to void the years of hard work of hundreds of female players, the PDGA has reversed course and instituted a new rule that will ban Ryan and other fake women from playing in the women’s division.

The PDGA’s new criteria for transgender players now reads as follows:

Players are only eligible to compete in the gender-based FPO division at PDGA Pro Majors (Champions Cup, USWDGC, European Open, and Pro Worlds) if they began medical transition during Tanner Stage 2 or before age 12, whichever is later. The player must also continuously maintain a total testosterone level in serum below 2.0 nmol/L.

Obviously, this still leaves a loophole for transgenders to sneak their way into the women’s division in the future, but at least the PDGA is taking positive steps in banning men from the women’s division for good.

Naturally, Ryan is furious at the new mandate that will keep him from unfairly dominating the women’s division - since he transitioned after he was 12 - and took time out of his day to complain about it on Instagram.

“If fairness was the boards only priority the would have removed all trans women from competition,” the post reads. “Instead, this decision send a clear message: The board doesn’t want to see me succeed. They don’t care about local trans women or semi pro trans women nor masters trans women. This is about my success and their aversion to it.”

Actually, the decision is about making sure real women aren’t erased by men in the name of false equality. But that’s something Ryan probably wouldn’t understand, since his actions reveal that he’s more focused on indulging his selfish desires.
