Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) announced Monday on Twitter that he plans to eliminate the Biden administration’s “Disinformation Board” through legislation to be proposed this week.
If Joe Biden won’t dissolve his unconstitutional Disinformation Board, Congress should. I will introduce legislation this week to eliminate the Board and forbid the government ever to create another one. It’s time to stand up for free speech

The White House has announced the board will be headed by Nina Jankowicz, a woman who seems likes to sing about Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

During a congressional subcommittee hearing in 2020, Jankowicz, then a fellow at the Wilson Center, discussed her support the "Fairness Doctrine." She also advocated giving more taxpayer funds to the Public Broadcasting Service and National Public Radio to help them pump state funded messages to “news deserts” in the U.S.
