Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) really knows how to stick it to the far-left. He does things that he doesn't need to, but end up being so thoughtful, both in terms of the people his actions affect and in setting off the left.
On Monday, DeSantis signed Florida House Bill 395 (HB395) designating November 7 to be "Victims of Communism Day."
"Today, I am signing HB395, which will officially designated November 7 as Victims of Communism Day to honor the more than 100 million people who have fallen victim to communist regimes across the world," DeSantis said at a Monday press conference.

The governor also tweeted out the declaration.
Today, I established November 7th as Victims of Communism Day to honor those who have suffered under communism and remind people of the destruction communism has caused worldwide, including a death toll exceeding 100 million.

It's little things this that make a leader. It lets the people know exactly where you stand while show a little compassion to those who either have been or know someone who has been directly affected by the worst ideology in modern history.
