The sound of shots rang out at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday and a bloodied Donald Trump was rushed off the stage by the Secret Service.

Gunfire appeared to break out shortly after Trump began speaking at the rally around 6 PM EST in what officials are calling an assassination attempt.

Trump who was bloodied on his ear and face, raised his fists in defiance as he was rushed from the scene.

There are reports that others may have been injured in the incident. (UPDATE: One Trump supporter was killed, and two spectators were critically injured).

Latest reports claim a "gunman" has been neutralized at the scene.

Trump's team reports that Donald Trump is fine.
