Sure, we’ve all read the continuing scrolling list of the taxpayer waste uncovered by DOGE, but to actually view where some of the money went is a horror one cannot unsee.

MRCTV went on a search to uncover video of some of the wasteful spending projects mentioned by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. We collected some interesting video clips that include:

  • $47,000 for a "transgender opera in Colombia." The money was awarded to Universidad De Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, toward a 2022 production of "As One," an opera about a transgender woman. U.S. taxpayers paid for a performance that included a man singing about stuffing rolled-up socks into his shirt as breasts.
  • $1.5 million to Grupa Izadi, a Serbian LGBTQ+ rights group. The money was aimed at promoting workplace diversity in Serbia for LGBTQ+ people and reducing workplace discrimination. Part of that was used by creating an “inclusive” game.
  • A $70,000 grant funded a lavish 2022 DEI music festival event at the U.S. Embassy in Ireland. “Equity” was celebrated as a “cornerstone.”
  • $20 million on a new Sesame Street show in Iraq. We bring you a clip from “Ahlan Simsim Iraq” and whole lot more in the video above. Take a look at how your government has been spending your tax money.
