Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) claims that a 2022 shooting at a Buffalo supermarket “has been an inspiration to me” to “change every law that I could in the state of New York.”
Hochul made the comments at Monday’s Clinton Global Initiative during the “Combatting The U.S. Gun Violence Epidemic” event in New York.
Hochul said when she visited the scene at the supermarket following the shooting she felt the need to take action on guns.
“I knew I had to do something in that moment – dramatic - and change the whole dynamic, change every law I could in the state of New York. And that has been an inspiration to me to know that can happen in an innocent place, a sunny day in May when people are shopping for groceries.”

Hochul seems to have a strange way with words. Almost as strange as her take on the Second Amendment.
