Authorities say a homeowner shot and killed an intruder on Tuesday in Harris County, Texas after the suspect was spotted possibly trying to break into homes.
Late Tuesday night a homeowner grabbed a gun after seeing an unidentified man grab what was believed to be a shovel and shatter the window of his house.
KHOU-TV reports, the homeowner shot the suspected home invader multiple times. The suspect was later rushed to the hospital where he died.
It seems this may be another incident showcasing how defensive gun use is four to five times more common than gun crimes.
Authorities add that the next-door neighbor confronted the same suspect in their own backyard.
