Not many people these days expect Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to make much sense, but on Tuesday he claimed that allowing states to make their own laws on abortion unfairly impacts members of the trans community.

Speaking at a pro-abortion event outside the Capitol, Schumer claimed that states putting limits on abortion “goes against the very idea of do no harm.”

“No harm” - except to the baby. But Schumer never uttered the word ‘baby.’ That word doesn't seem to exist when leftists discuss abortion.

His logic just got more twisted from there.

“Democrats cannot and will not simply accept a new status quo. When the MAGA Supreme Court signaled the end of row and declared there was no constitutional right to an abortion, it meant our children will grow up in a world with fewer liberties than previous generations. The effect was instantaneous and devastating. 1 in 3 women in America lost access to abortion, and we know this has a disproportionate effect on certain Americans more than others. Rural and low-income Americans, people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, particularly the trans community and black Americans,” Schumer said.

The trans community is particularly effected by laws that put some restrictions on abortion?

Schumer never explains this. He just “knows” this. Or rather he knows “we” know this. No need to question. Never question Chucky.

If you do question this claim, you’ll find alphabet mafia organizations often make the argument that it disproportionately impacts them  “as LGBTQ+ are at a greater risk for unintended pregnancy, partially because they are less likely to use contraceptives.”

Which is a greater argument for the B and the T’s to receive education, rather than impose a national diktat forcing states to legalize the killing of babies up to (and some argue for beyond) the moment of conception.

Another concept Schumer refuses to address.
