“Sound of Freedom,” the movie based on the true efforts of Tim Ballard to rescue young children from sex slavery was a top ten grossing movie for 2023.

IMDB pro’s BoxOfficeMojo.com shows the film coming in at #10 for the year with a total gross of over $184,000,000.

“Sound Of Freedom” fell behind “John Wick: Chapter 4” but ahead of “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” and “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” as both of those films fell under a $180,000,000 total gross.

Jim Caviezel played the role of Ballard in “Sound Of Freedom” from Angel Studios, the same studio that releases the popular faith-focused video series “The Chosen.”

The film was repeatedly attacked by leftist media upon its release, with CNBC claiming the movie is “divisive”(for demonizing sex-trafficking?) and criticizing a screening of the film held by Donald Trump, describing the former president as “once again embracing content connected to QAnon.”
