Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) offered up some sage advice on Tuesday.

“Bottom line, never trust a man whose uncle was eaten by cannibals," Ernst was caught saying to Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) after a press conference on border security.

Her statement was referring to Joe Biden’s multiple false claims that his uncle was eaten by cannibals in Papua New Guinea.

Ernst's comment was caught by a nearby microphone, after a GOP press conference on Biden’s sudden decision to take executive action to limit some of the migrants claiming asylum at the U.S. southern border.

After years of claiming "I've done all I can do” on his open border, Biden has made a course change. Months before the presidential election, Biden is moving to temporarily suspend the entry of aliens across the southern border, but only once the number of average illegals exceeds 2,500 a day over seven days.
