A man who allegedly sent death threats to Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood was greeted by the sheriff at an airport in Florida.

Sheriff Chitwood greeted 45-year-old Matthew Moulton by saying, "Matthew, I’m Sheriff Chitwood. I'm the guy you want to kill, and there's nothing I can do about it - challenge accepted."

Moulton allegedly wrote a threat to the sheriff, expressing his anger over the sheriff’s policy of perp-walking minors who make school shooting threats.

According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal:

"I am going to have to threaten you with death. It's coming," Moulton told Chitwood in the letter. "There is nothing you can do to stop it."

Except maybe find Moulton living at his mother’s home in Washington state and get him extradited to Florida, where you can greet him face-to-face at the airport.

“We are going to take you where you need to go,” Chitwood says in the video. “We’ll make sure your cell has rubber in it.”

Moulton was booked into jail last week on a charge of written threat to kill or do bodily injury.

There has been no confirmation that the cell has rubber walls.
