It’s hard to find news more obvious and infuriating.

With a tip o’ the hat to Twitter user “Fool Nelson”, who appears to be one of the first to have sounded the alarm, The Washington Examiner reports that Anna Makanju, the so-called “Election Integrity” executive for Facebook – the person in charge of determining whether posts that have some bearing on “the election” are true or false, allowed or blocked…

Heck, let’s allow The Washington Examiner to lay it out:

Facebook’s election integrity expert formerly worked as a special adviser for European policy to Joe Biden while he served as vice president.

Yeah. You read that right.

As the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans webpage notes:

Anna Adeola Makanju is currently working on content regulation at Facebook. Previously, she was the Special Policy Advisor for Europe and Eurasia to Vice President Biden, and prior to that she was the Senior Policy Advisor to the Permanent Representative at the United States Mission to the United Nations. She also was the Director for Russia at the National Security Council and the Chief of Staff for European and NATO Policy in the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Anna was born in St. Petersburg, Russia to a Nigerian father and Ukrainian mother. When Anna was 11 years old, her family moved to Germany, then Phoenix, then Kuwait - where they lived until the beginning of the Persian Gulf War - and finally to Texas.

And it doesn’t end there.

Because I’ve been following the Obama Administration’s machinations in Ukraine since the overthrow of the elected President, Viktor Yanukovych, there in late 2013, AND because I’ve been aware of how then-US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland was recorded possibly talking about selecting the next ruler of Ukraine and bragged about sending that Obama-friendly gang vast sums of US taxpayer cash (some of those revolutionaries were neo-Nazis, for real)… because I know that the DNC chose not to give the FBI its computers to investigate what the DNC called a 2016 “hack” that informed us how corrupt Donna Brazile, CNN, and Hillary Clinton appeared to be, but that, instead, the DNC chose a corporation called CrowdStrike to tell folks the computers were hacked, despite the fact that former NSA technical expert William Binney has repeatedly shown that the data transfers were so swift, they had to have been done INSIDE the DNC, and because I know that CrowdStrike was headed by Dmitri Alperovitch, and that Alperovitch’s corporation subsequently became the info liaison with the FBI, Special Council Robert Mueller, and even the Senate Intel Committee, thus always acting as a filter for the real DNC data story, and because I know that Mr. Alperovich is a member of The Atlantic Council, which was intimately involved in, yeah, you got it, the “change of government” in Ukraine…

Well, this makes me more than a bit concerned about Ms. Makanju’s other notable professional position…

Which is called “Nonresident Senior Fellow” with…

The Atlantic Council.

Call me skeptical, but this, combined with all of the other threads in this crazy-but-obvious web of connections, makes one wonder about her ability to act as a faithful arbiter of the truth in her new position with Facebook.

How about you?
