Following dozens of attacks against pregnancy centers across the United States, the FBI now says they’re investigating the rash of violence as potential domestic terrorism.

One source estimates that at least 41 pro-life clinics offering medical services and resources to pregnant women have been firebombed or vandalized over the past several weeks. A militant abortion rights group calling itself “Jane’s Revenge” has taken credit for many of the attacks, scrawling messages on clinic walls reading, “If abortions aren’t safe, then neither are you.”

In a letter penned June 15, the group declared “open season” on anti-abortion groups and pregnancy centers in retribution for the expected SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, threatening “increasingly drastic measures” that “may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti.”

The FBI says they’re taking the threat seriously.

"The FBI is investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country," the FBI said in a statement, per Fox News. "The FBI takes all threats seriously and we continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners and will remain vigilant to protect our communities."

At least four clinics have been firebombed, including clinics in Gresham, Oregon; Madison, Wisconsin; and Buffalo, New York.
