Reza Aslan, a former CNN host more recently famous for saying he wanted to punch a pro-life Catholic high school student in the face, may have managed to one-up himself when it comes to being an absolute gutter snake.
Moments after legendary conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh announced on his show that he’d been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer, Aslan, former host of CNN's religious-themed show "Believer," tweeted the hypothetical question, “Ask yourself this simple question: Is the world a better place or a worse place with Rush Limbaugh in it?”

After the tweet predictably sparked backlash (and, unfortunately, rounds of virtual applause from the similar dregs of society,” Aslan doubled down on his atrocious take, tweeting: “I am not ‘celebrating’ anyone’s diagnosis. I’m posing an important philosophical question. Rush is not ‘my adversary’ — he is a curse upon this nation, a purveyor of hatred and racism who’s at the very least indirectly responsible for the mass suffering of countless people.”
