If you need any more reasons to want Tiktok removed for good, hear the testimony of Oli London.

London was born a man, but began questioning whether or not he wanted to change genders as an adolescent. He said that while using Tiktok, lots of content from trans activists encouraging people to change their gender identity came up on his feed. Since he was struggling with an identity crisis of his own at the time, he thought changing genders might solve that.

"You think, 'Oh, wow, look at them, they're popular, they're getting love, they're getting validation' and I thought, ‘Maybe I can feel validated,'" London said

London said he was on Tiktok for nearly 8 hours per day, and most of the content he saw was gender-affirming videos. This influenced him to undergo his own transition, which he documented on Tiktok.

London’s experience is not unique. The #topsurgery hashtag has over 2.1 billion likes on the app, and the content associated with this trend involves people documenting their transition change. It's targeted at young children.

London rightfully takes exception to this.

"This is a trend that destroys lives, it destroys families, it destroys the lives of children” London said. “It teaches children that the only way to feel happy and to accept themselves is to mutilate their bodies through surgery and through taking very harmful hormones."

Fortunately, London has realized the overwhelming power TikTok can have on children and is doing all he can to speak out about its dangers. If this does not serve as a warning to you and your families to remove this toxic app from your phones phones for good, nothing will.
