Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) says he believes the president will be acquitted this week.
Graham made the comments during an interview Tuesday on Fox News.
“This is the weakest case you’ll ever see in the history of the country in terms of impeachment," Graham said. "It was a partisan vote in the house, and what’s happened? The president will be acquitted, and I think it will be this week, but you’ve unleashed the forces of partisan hell on future presidents if we legitimize this.”
Graham went on to address his colleagues in the senate, telling them that if they think John Bolton is the only witness that will be called, they’re crazy.

“There’s so many things I want to find out…so to my colleagues, if you think you’re going to call one witness, you’re crazy.”
Graham listed Hunter Biden, Joe Biden and the whistleblower among those would want to testify if witnesses testimony becomes part of the Senate impeachment trial.
