Osama bin Laden’s son, Hamza bin Laden, a top-tier terrorist in his father’s terror organization, Al Qaeda, who had “repeatedly threatened to attack the United States,” is believed to be dead, according to the New York Times.

“Details of the strike that killed him were scarce, including when and where,” the Times reports. “The United States government played a role in the operation, but it was not clear how, according to the officials, who discussed his death on the condition of anonymity because it involved sensitive operations and intelligence gathering.”

Fox News reports that, when asked to comment on the new reports that bin Laden’s son had been killed, President Trump refused, merely stating, “I don't want to comment on it. I don't want to comment on that. Thank you very much, everybody.”

While much is still in the air regarding the demise of Hamza bin Laden, it can be firmly said that if reports being circulated are indeed accurate, it is a clear victory for the United States in the battle against terrorism.
