The plan of the globalist elites to block out the sun keeps getting crazier as now they plan to catch an asteroid in space and attach a giant umbrella to it.
No seriously, this is an actual proposed plan by a scientist.
István Szapudi, an astronomer from the University of Hawaii, proposed his wacky idea in a recent paper published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Basically, the plan outlines details for a giant “solar shield” that would be out of graphene and would have to be tethered to an asteroid. Szapudi argues the asteroid would act as a counterweight in order to keep the shield from being blown away by solar winds.
“In Hawaiʻi, many use an umbrella to block the sunlight as they walk about during the day,” he told the Daily Mail. “I was thinking, could we do the same for Earth and thereby mitigate the impending catastrophe of climate change?”

Not only is this idea crazy, but he also admits it's potentially dangerous if actually carried out. Szapudi also told the Daily Mail that it “has enough weight to wreak havoc” if the tethers break and the shield crashes on Earth.
Of course, this mad scientist finds “climate change” more dangerous than crashing a giant shield into Earth.
In his paper he says climate change is “a looming threat to the way of life for a significant fraction of humanity.”
This isn’t the first plan introduced to block out the sun in the name of fighting “climate change.”
The Biden administration recently considered a plan to block out the sun by spraying extra aerosols in the atmosphere in order to reflect more sunlight away from the Earth. Globalist billionaires Bill Gates and George Soros have also funded similar projects to block out the sun.
