On Tuesday, The House Democratic Caucus chair said that having a plan to deal with high gas prices “hasn’t come up.”

"That issue hasn’t come up," was Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) response to a reporter’s question on how Democrats are planning to address rising gas prices, that have now spiked to record highs since with the war in Ukraine.

“But I think increasing global oil supply at the moment - to the extent that there are implications, particulary for Europe, which is more heavily reliant upon Russian oil than we are here in the United States of America, y’know, is an important discussion,” Jefferies continued.

Sheesh.

One has to wonder about the issues they are actually choosing to discuss at the House Democratic Caucus meetings.
