Both elected and unelected government tools — otherwise known as bureaucrats — just don’t get it when it comes to the Chinese coronavirus. Never did, never will. For many of us, COVID still exists, but the fear resulting from the establishment media and their government masters is over.
However, we should also never discount the government’s ability to trot out their pawns to try and re-instill the fear that gripped many over the past couple of years and reinforce the fear that many have been brainwashed to live under.
Mr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), joined ABC’s Jonathan Karl on “This Week” to talk about a possible return to mandates and other fun authoritarian edicts.
When asked about his “level of concern” following news that 21 states have seen an uptick in cases and 11 states have seen a rise in hospitalizations, Fauci warned of indoor mask mandates making a comeback.
…the idea that we’re going to see an uptick, I think, people need to appreciate that that’s the case and follow the CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] guidelines. Because remember, when the metrics were put forth, the new metrics looking at the guidance of masking, it was said that if we do start seeing an uptick, particularly of hospitalizations, we may need to revert back to being more careful and having more utilization of masks indoors.
The “CDC guidelines,” huh? You mean the same CDC guidelines that have gotten conservatives and others suspended and banned from social media and video platforms for citing? Those CDC guidelines?
And which masks, sir? The N95 masks appear to be the only masks that actually do anything. The blue ones — you know, the preferred mask of people who drive in their cars by themselves with the windows rolled up? Yeah, those don’t really do much of anything in terms of the prevention of transmission or contraction. But keep horrifying people into jumping through your hoops.
