If Attack Was Real, Why? Alleged Hate Crime Hoaxer Jussie Smollett Asked Chicago PD to Turn Off Body Cameras

I’ve never seen “alleged” hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett act before — well, besides when I didn’t know who he was in the first “Mighty Ducks” movie. If it weren’t for his “Oscar-worthy” performance in an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts back in February, I’d have no idea of Smollett’s acting chops. Apparently, Smollett didn’t want to show anyone else just how good he is as an actor either.

The Chicago Police Department (CPD) released hours upon hours of video “related to the Jussie Smollett hate crime investigation,” according to CBS 2 - Chicago.

According to the story:

Nearly 70 hours of video related to the Jussie Smollett hate crime investigation was released by the Chicago Police Department on Monday, including, for the first time, police body camera video that shows the noose around the actor’s neck.

The video was captured as police entered Smollett’s downtown apartment, and the actor is seen in a red and white sweater with the rope around his neck. He told investigators he kept the rope there to show them evidence of a racially motivated attack.

Smollett also told police that he had bleach poured on him before he made another very peculiar move that raised at least my eyebrows.

The former “Empire” actor told police that he didn’t want to be filmed, and the CPD officers on the scene then asked Smollett for permission to turn off their body cameras. That’s when that particular video ended.

If someone went to the trouble, and went through the supposed mental anguish, of keeping the noose or rope “allegedly” used in the “alleged” attack so that officers could see what Smollett “alleged,” then why would he ask for officers to turn off their body cameras? It doesn’t make sense for someone who so desperately wanted people to believe his account of the “alleged” attack to do that.

See for yourselves:

Sorry, but that’s just all kinds of shady. As said earlier, there’s tons of video that was just released, so it’ll be interesting to see what else comes to light as a result of this video dump by the CPD.
