There’s something seriously wrong with our “injustice” system. The criminals are now victims, and the victims are now the criminals. I suppose that’s what you get when a foreign entity — like “philanthropist” George Soros — and his activist minions finance a take over of a country’s system of law.

Get this. A 17-year-old Iowa girl was sentenced on Tuesday to “five years of closely supervised probation and ordered to pay $150,000 restitution.”

Who is Pieper Lewis paying “restitution” to? The family of the man that “allegedly” raped her multiple times — sometimes reportedly at knifepoint — after being sex trafficked since she was 15.

Why? Because one day Lewis finally got a hold of the knife that they threatened her with and stabbed her “alleged” assaulter 30 times until he died. To be fair, Lewis "pleaded last year to involuntary manslaughter and willful injury," according to NBC News.

This is the story of a young girl whose life is ruined because of BS laws and a faulty “injustice” system:

Lewis was 15 when she stabbed Brooks more than 30 times in a Des Moines apartment. Officials have said Lewis was a runaway who was seeking to escape an abusive life with her adopted mother and was sleeping in the hallways of a Des Moines apartment building when a 28-year-old man took her in before forcibly trafficking her to other men for sex.

Lewis said one of those men was Brooks and that he had raped her multiple times in the weeks before his death. She recounted being forced at knifepoint by the 28-year-old man to go with Brooks to his apartment for sex. She told officials that after Brooks had raped her yet again, she grabbed a knife from a bedside table and stabbed Brooks in a fit of rage.

Police and prosecutors have not disputed that Lewis was sexually assaulted and trafficked. But prosecutors have argued that Brooks was asleep at the time he was stabbed and not an immediate danger to Lewis.

First of all, the fact that Lewis was the defendant in this case is laughable and the judge should have a probe opened against him for even allowing the victim to be prosecuted. These prosecutors should be prosecuted themselves for making the victim a criminal and the criminals victims.

So because Lewis’ “alleged” rapist was asleep, that gives the violent criminal the right to get some Z’s without being assaulted by his “alleged” victim? That would be like saying that a kidnapping victim can’t assault their captors in an attempt to get away, because they were eating dinner “and not an immediate danger” to the person being kidnapped.

I’m sorry, but that’s screwed up. You don’t have to like it, but our justice system — along with our system of government — has been hijacked by far-left extremists and burned down, much like major cities did while “protesters” celebrated George Floyd.

On a brighter note, left-leaning crowdfunding website GoFundMe allowed a fundraiser for Lewis in order to help pay the "restitution" to her "alleged" rapist's family. As of this writing, the campaign has raised over $234,000.
