Biden’s craptastic border extravaganza has finally caught the attention of California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
During an interview earlier this week, Newsom acknowledged the complete feces-show Biden has created at the border and realized things are only going to get worse after the end of Title 42, a Trump-era policy that ordered applicants for asylum to remain in Mexico rather than gain entry into the U.S.
"The fact is what we've got right now is not working, and it's about to break in a post-42 world unless we take some responsibility and ownership – and I’m saying that as a Democrat," Newsom told ABC news.
"I'm not saying that to point fingers, I'm saying that as a father, I'm saying that as someone that feels responsible for being part of the solution and I'm trying to do my best here," he added.
Of course let’s not give too much credit to Newsom for being among the first Democrats to peek behind the tent to look at Biden’s border disaster circus. Sacramento station KXTV reports that local political analyst Steve Swart claims there might be larger political implications.
“He is trying to raise his profile on a national level, and he would like nothing better than to be the firebrand on the left for Democrats,” Swart says.

Newsom also took the opportunity to take a swipe at Republican governors for providing travel for illegals to “sanctuary cities.”
Newsom said he would be willing to work with Governor DeSantis and Abbott if they are willing “to put aside their cruelty and their zest for demonization.”
It seems Newsom failed to comment on Biden’s demonization of all that won't “work” with him.
