Elon Musk posted a video Wednesday casually strolling into Twitter's California headquarters holding what appeared to be a sink.
"Entering Twitter HQ - let that sink in!" the billionaire Tesla CEO joked, just before adding "Chief Twit" to his own Twitter bio.

Musk, who recently agreed to purchase the social media company for about $44 billion in a deal set to close by the end of the week, has sparked off five-alarm fires across the largely leftist-led platform, with employees exploding over Musk's rumored plans to fire about 75% of the current workforce. Some current staff grabbed a few headlines - and sparked more than a couple laughs - by writing an open letter this week demanding that the new incoming CEO retain all the company's employees, refrain from discriminating based on politics, and give "fair severances" to those who leave.
So, naturally, Musk's short video - literally just showing him walking through the company's front door - triggered leftist meltdowns along with an eruption of cheers from free speech advocates who've spent months worrying that the deal might not actually go through.

It's not yet clear exactly what changes the Musk era will bring to a social media site best known for censoring right-leaning voices - but with any luck, he'll throw out everything but the kitchen sink.
