What do Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers and San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa have in common? Both of them have gotten censored for communicating a Donald Trump-related message on live TV.
Earlier this month, NBC censored out a clip of Bosa crashing an interview wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat just before the election took place (they eventually corrected course on the issue). Yesterday, Bowers scored a touchdown in a game against the Miami Dolphins, and hopped on the pro-Trump wagon as well.
After finding the endzone in the third quarter, Bowers hit the “Trump Shuffle” in honor of the president-elect.

Once the game was over, Bowers told a reporter that he was inspired by UFC fighter Jon Jones, who hit the same dance after winning UFC 309.
"I've seen everyone do it," Bowers told USA Today reporter Safid Deen. "I watched the UFC fight last night and Jon Jones did it. I like watching UFC so I saw it, and thought it was cool."
However, CBS most certainly did not seem to find it cool, and tried to make it appear as if it never happened.
When the “NFL on CBS” X page posted a highlight of the play, they purposefully cut out the part where Bowers did the dance. According to OutKick, the original CBS broadcast showed Bowers scoring the touchdown, doing the dance, and then cutting to Raiders owner Mark Davis. But on their X page, the dancing portion was removed.

This is peak clown behavior. I cannot believe that CBS is so upset with Trump that they are literally taking time out of their day to remove a clip of a football player dancing like him.
I never thought I’d find a network that could rival the thin-skin of MSNBC, but CBS has changed my mind.
