Few politicians in office are more despicable than Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), and he again proved why on Wednesday.
Schumer was on Capitol Hill yesterday, complaining and whining about what President Trump and his administration are doing. That’s all he ever does, really. He’s always shedding crocodile tears about how Republicans don’t do what he wants, and he pretends he speaks on behalf of the American people as he does it.
This pathetic husk of a man said perhaps one of the dumbest things he’s said in his 50 - yes, 50 - years in office. Schumer had the audacity to criticize Elon Musk and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) for doing their best to make sure the government isn’t wasting its citizens’ money.
CHUCK SCHUMER: “No good business operator would take the slash and burn approach that DOGE is taking."

Umm, someone tell Chuck that @ElonMusk did this with X.pic.twitter.com/OnOzWrrEW0
“No good business operator would take the slash and burn approach that DOGE is taking,” Schumer said.

You heard that right. Schumer is sitting there telling one of the richest men in the world that he’s not running his program properly. He should sit this one out and let Musk - the multi-billionaire - do his thing.
Schumer doesn’t care about the average American, though he tried really hard to make it seem like he did in his speech. What he’s really mad about is that DOGE is finally slashing away unnecessary government spending and making sure American tax dollars are being put to good use. While this should make any worthwhile politician happy, it bothers Schumer because now he’s losing out on ways to illegally fill his pockets with what we pay in taxes.
If you need any more evidence that Schumer is, at best, warped, corrupt, and senile, let this ease your doubts.
