Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy offered grace to a college kid who helped create an antisemitic sign that was hung in one of his bars - and the young man refused to accept it.

On Sunday, news broke that a student named Mohammad Khan requested that a sign that read “F–k the Jews” be hung at the Barstool Sansom St. establishment. Two servers at the bar helped him, and those involved were fired by Portnoy. Khan was also helped by another unnamed student.

Originally, Portnoy said he would send the kid to Auschwitz to learn about the history of the Holocaust, and that he would pay for the trip. He wanted to show Khan some grace instead of ruining his life from the get-go.

But all of that has changed, thanks to Khan’s behavior.

On Monday afternoon, Portnoy revealed on X that that Khan is no longer taking responsibility for his part in creating the sign. As such, Portnoy is throwing down the hammer.

“Mo Kahn is no longer taking any responsibility or involvement for the 'F–k the Jews' sign at Barstool Sansom” Portnoy said.

"His [sic] is basically lawyering up and blaming it all on his friend now and is saying he was just a citizen journalist. It is a 180 from my convo with him yesterday. Needless to say his trip to Poland has been revoked."

I think we’ve officially met one of the dumbest college students in America.

First, he goes and asks for that sign to be made at a bar.

Second, other social media posts of Khan’s recirculate showing that he has shared more antisemitic messages in the past.

Third, when given a lifeline by the Jewish owner of the business he caused trouble at, he threw it back in Portnoy’s face and refused to take responsibility for his actions.

It really is true. You can’t fix stupid.
