Djokovic Displays Cross Necklace For Second Time During Olympics, Just Days After LGBT Opening Ceremonies

By now, you’ve probably heard all about the disgusting drag show that was part of the opening ceremonies for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

I’ll save you from having to look at anything scarring and just let you know it was nasty and an attack on Christianity.

One of the many people who thought this wasn’t cool was Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic, who is on his quest to win his first Olympic gold medal. While he hasn’t outright said anything via a statement, he has now twice made a defiant stance against the Olympics pushing the LGBT agenda down everyone’s throats.

After defeating Australian Matthew Ebden in straight sets in the opening round of the Olympics on Saturday, Djokovic could be seen wearing a cross around his neck.

While that may have been seen as a random one-off, it did come just one day after the opening ceremony. But the fact that he prominently displayed that same necklace in a post-match interview after defeating Rafael Nadal earlier suggests this is not a coincidence.

Djokovic has not been shy about sharing his religious beliefs in the past. In 2011, he said that being an Orthodox Christian is the most important part of his identity.

“This is the most important title of my life because before being an athlete, I am an Orthodox Christian,” he told Aleteia (an international Roman Catholic news publication) in 2011.

While he has also said in the past that he does not “limit himself” to being an Orthodox Christian, what he did is still praiseworthy.

He used the most important symbol in the Christian faith just days after the biggest sporting event in the world elevated the toxic LGBT agenda. No matter how you serve it up, that is something worth applauding.
