I’m sure you already know it by now, but it’s Monday, which, if you’re normal, is your least favorite day of the week. Who wants to say goodbye to the weekend and hello to another five days of work?

But don’t worry, I’m here to lighten the mood - at least for a little bit - with a rather hilarious story.

On Friday, a X user named John “JR” Rhoades (a frequent contributor to many Ohio State fan sites) decided to use AI to create what he thought would be “The Ultimate Ohio State Quarterback.” You know, a quarterback from the school that’s lost to Michigan three years in a row.

Rhoades decided to combine seven past Buckeye quarterbacks and have AI take the best trait from each to create the ideal Ohio State quarterback. He typed in the names of Troy Smith, J.T. Barrett, CJ Stroud, Dwayne Haskins, Cardale Jones, Justin Fields and Braxton Miller.

Other than being OSU QBs, what do these guys have in common? They’re all Black. So you think that would mean the picture of this lab-concocted quarterback would share the same skin color of these athletes.

Well, that’s not exactly what happened. The quarterback in the image looks like he uses three coats of sunblock every time he goes to the beach.

I mean seriously, how did AI mess this up that badly? It somehow had the capacity to take the best traits of these seven quarterbacks, yet it didn’t get the memo that not a single one of these dudes was white, and therefore the final product shouldn’t be either.

Maybe we can’t trust AI as much as we thought we could…

Social media users had a field day picking apart AI’s creation, as they should have.

I certainly hope you that made you laugh as much as I did. If not, then I guess your work week is off to a slow start.

Happy Monday everyone!
