UFC fighter Jon “Bones” Jones is perhaps the greatest to ever do it in the MMA ring. After beating Stipe Miocic on Saturday night in UFC 309 to retain his heavyweight title, he put on a Hall-of-Fame level celebration as well.

Once the fight was over, Jones pointed to president-elect Donald Trump, who had attended the event in Madison Square Garden in New York City. After getting Trump’s attention, Jones proceeded to hit the “Trump Shuffle,” which is quickly becoming a viral celebration dance across several sports leagues.

After doing the shuffle in the President-elect's honor, Jones took the microphone and not only shared an incredibly patriotic message, but also a faith-filled one.

"A big, big thank you to President Donald Trump for being here tonight," Jones said, which erupted the crowd. "I'm proud to be a great American champion. I'm proud to be a Christian American champion."

UFC athletes have the best worldviews, don't they?

After thanking him, Jones walked over to Trump and handed his title belt to the president-elect in a moment of respect.

In a world in which politics have (unfortunately) become a fundamental part of sports league’s existence, it’s good to see that conservative values are being pushed. Too long have we watched sports only to hear messages along the lines of “the LGBT worldview is good” and “you’re racist if you don’t support BLM.” With the tide of America turning, Christian and conservative athletes are no longer afraid to speak up about their beliefs.

And that’s a good thing to see.
