If you know anything about college football, you know that the Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes have the fiercest rivalry in college football - and one of the fiercest in all of North American sports.
On Saturday, the two schools renewed their rivalry, with the unranked Wolverines pulling off a shocking victory over the No. 2-ranked Buckeyes by a score of 13-10. After the game, some Michigan players tried to plant their team flag in the middle of Ohio State’s field, and that started an intense brawl. It was so wild, in fact, that cops had to use pepper spray to stop some of the players from fighting.

On the field, you’re allowed to put up a strong fight to win. But after the game, you hate to see stuff like this.
While the chaos was unfolding, several players from both teams (one from Michigan and three from Ohio State) formed a prayer circle. It’s unclear exactly what they were praying about, but it was still wonderful to see nonetheless.

Eventually, more Ohio State players joined the prayer circle.

I cannot overstate how much these two schools despise each other; they have a feud that dates back to the 1890s. That’s why it’s all the more powerful that members of both teams came together and prayed - especially with the melee unfolding around them.
The presence of Christ truly does unite people, even if you’re on opposing sides of the Michigan-Ohio State football rivalry.
