Last night, the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night football. After the game, NBC interviewed a few 49ers players that they called the “Stars of the Game.”
As the interview was unfolding, 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa crashed the interview, wearing a gold and white make America great again hat. He popped with the cameras for about two seconds, pointed to his headgear, didn’t say a word, and then left.

This appearance was largely harmless. After all, Bosa didn’t grab a mic and start loudly advocating for Trump. All he did was wear a hat, and then leave soon after arriving. If you blinked, you would have missed the whole thing.
However, NBC apparently thought that this was a gigantic problem. As such, they deleted the clip of Bosa appearing in the interview on their X page. Tell me you hate free speech without telling me you hate free speech.
While you may be thoroughly disappointed at this act of blatant censorship, don’t be too upset. Outkick reported that because NBC got ridiculed so much in the comment section of their original post, they decided to delete the clip that removed Bosa’s appearance.

Frankly, I don’t know what’s more embarrassing: censoring Bosa's relatively minor appearance, or deleting the edit after getting called out by thousands of fans. Either way, it’s a bad look for NBC, and shows that liberals only approve of political messages being spread through sports when they are progressive.
Eventually, NBC smartened up and posted the whole interview- Bosa appearance and all - on their X page earlier this morning.

This marks the second time within the calendar year that NBC has removed a portion of an interview they did not like. Nick Kangadis reported back in January that the network edited an interview in which Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud praised Jesus after a playoff win against the Cleveland Browns.
