A Seattle high school student and her family are speaking out against the State’s transgenders in athletics policy.

The 15-year-old girl in question, who remained unnamed by the Daily Mail (along with her parents), were forced to race against a transgender athlete on an opposing high school roster (the athlete and high school also went unnamed).

According to the 15-year-old girl, this deranged boy negatively affected how the girl’s team did.

“If it wasn't for boys running with girls, our team would have won three team trophies,” she said.

She added that she and her teammates felt “unsettled” and “cheated” for being forced to race against a superior male opponent.

“I realized that in front of me was a boy. He was running in our race. I kept wondering, why are all the adults going along with this? Why don't the people in charge of girls sports know what a girl is anymore? I felt tricked,” she and her parents said. “It's just sort of unsettling running next to him for most of the race...  he's making fun of us.”

A group of parents from the girl’s team decided to protest against this male runner being included by the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) at an event last month.

However, in a video obtained by the Daily Mail, police from the Island County Sherrif’s office showed up on the scene and threatened to arrest the parents. Mind you, all they were doing was holding signs and wearing t-shirts with pro-women’s sports messages on them. But that was apparently too offensive of a demonstration.

In the footage, the office said “Everyone with a sign” wasn’t welcome. So much as for speech and the First Amendment.

“It’s been a constant source of stress for us. We’re being told to just go along with it, but we know he’s a boy, and it isn’t fair. Everyone’s afraid of hurting the boys’ feelings, but they don’t have to care about ours,” she said. “People tell us that if we aren’t nice to them, and if we don’t go along with it, they might hurt themselves. Why do the boy’s feelings matter more than everyone else’s?”

So not only do dozens of girls have to see their efforts go to waste, they have to let this happen because the boy might do something to hurt himself? Oh, and their parents have to have their voices muzzled.

The bigger issue here is why the girls have to take he insane boy’s feelings upon themselves, and that the school is threatening to arrest those who speak out against it (which is why everyone in this story remained anonymous). My, what an upside down world we live in.

Hopefully these girls keep speaking out against this, because it’s not up to them to suffer for the delusions of a boy who thinks he’s a girl.
