It’s only April, but I already know what I want for Christmas - a guide for how to hilariously roast people written by Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.).

This guy has an uncanny knack for making fun of people in the most comical way possible. He combines the voice of a southerner with the dry delivery of a New Englander and the wit of a comedian. Throughout his political career, Kennedy has made himself famous by finding ways to cleverly make jokes about his opposition and dropping the most unorthodox one-liners you’ll ever hear.

Here’s a reel of some of his best.

Kennedy was up to his tricks last night in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, along with several other Republican senators. One of the points of discussion was Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and how she's quickly becoming the rising star of the Democratic Party - along with racist Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) and decrepit Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

Kennedy paid her a compliment by saying that he views her as the leader of the Democratic Party. However, his compliment quickly turned into a patented hilarious insult.

“I think she’s the reason there are directions on a shampoo bottle,” Kennedy said. “Our plan for dealing with her is Operation Let Her Speak.”

In the words of Michael Scott: “Boom! Roasted.”

Kennedy has more personality appeal than the Democrats, who tried to appeal to the younger crowd by releasing dumb TikTok videos. We need to keep this man alive as long as possible, if for no other reason than to hear his jokes.

...and so he can write that book I want to buy.
