The National Football League (NFL) is by far the most influential sports organization in America, and the league wants to use its influence to make you vote liberal.
I mean, this shouldn’t be a super big surprise. Corny messages like “End Racism” (as if that will ever happen) and “It takes all of us” (to do what?) still border the endzones on many of its fields. Every month it seems the NFL is honoring some demographic’s “national history month” (Asians, LGBT, Blacks, you name it) in an attempt to honor people (except whites) in the most woke way possible. This league is progressive through and through, so it should be expected that the NFL would want to press its influence on fans that will soon head to the ballot boxes.
On the NFL’s website, it dedicates a section to its “NFL Votes” campaign. The mission statement for this campaign reads, in part:
“NFL Votes is a league-wide, nonpartisan initiative that supports and encourages civic engagement among NFL players, and legends, club and league personnel, and fans…Democracy is not a spectator sport. We urge everyone who is eligible to cast a ballot in our elections and have a say in our country's direction and future.”
Certainly, a noble cause, especially where it says it's a “nonpartisan initiative.” Of course, every organization has its biases, but at least the NFL is trying its best to be as objective as possible, right?
Well, not exactly.

There are five organizations the league lists as “partners” on its site. As “The Federalist’s” M.D. Kittle lays out in a recent article for the website, all of them have supported left-leaning causes and politicians:
- Rock the Vote - In 2009, this organization promoted the leftist healthcare agenda led by Barack Obama, which eventually became Obamacare.
- Voto Latino - This group’s leadership team includes CEO Maria Teresa Kumar, who has served on the boards of EMILY’s List and Planned Parenthood. The former works to support candidates who are pro-killing babies, and the latter actually kills the babies. Kumar also regularly contributes to MSNBC, another massive red flag.
- I am a voter - Kittle concludes that this organization is full of left-leaning celebrities, and was co-founded by Mandana Dayani and Debra Messing (a fashionista and actress, respectively). Citing “Influence Watch,” Kittle writes, “Dayana and Messing are well-known for their left-of-center views on matters like racial issues, LGBT issues, and gun control.”
- Rise to Vote - This group was founded by Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a flaming liberal.
- Vet the Vote - This group isn’t woke, it just enlists veterans to be poll workers. But given how progressive the other ones are, this doesn’t really save face for the NFL.
If the NFL were truly trying to be nonpartisan, it did a worse job at that than the Tennessee Titans’ offense trying to score points. The league wants you to vote liberal; it's just too hypocritical to be honest about that.
