Lots of people did not like Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show at Super Bowl LIX simply because they thought it was a bad performance. I would wager that a pro-Palestinian protestor appearing during the show didn’t redeem the moment, either.
While Lamar played some of his biggest hits, 400 background dancers aided the performance by, you guessed it, dancing. However, one of those dancers decided to break from character and do something that would want to make you puke.
The man, who for now remains unidentified, whipped out a flag that combined the designs of Sudan and Gaza and waved it around for the world to see for several seconds before being apprehended by security. For part of the demonstration, he standing on a Buick Grand National GNX (the title inspiration for Lamar’s most recent album, “GNX”) while the rapper sang “Not Like Us.” The Buick was a major stage prop for the show.

What a disgrace.

The NFL claimed it had no idea that this performer would go rogue, but the good news is we won’t have to worry about seeing him do something like this ever again.
"No one involved with the production was aware of the individual’s intent," the league said in a statement. "The individual will banned for life from all NFL stadiums and events."
While this moment certainly soured the evening, we can look forward to the next Super Bowl for two reasons: 1) the halftime show should probably be better (which isn’t saying much), and 2) this guy won’t be there to show support for a terrorist organization.
The Philadelphia Eagles went on to beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 and take home the Lombardi trophy.
