Apparently, working a shift at McDonald’s is an insult to McDonald’s workers. At least, that’s what Tim Walz would have you believe.
On Monday’s episode of “The View,” the vice presidential candidate spoke with the all-women panel about Donald Trump’s visit to a Pennsylvania McDonald’s, when he worked a shift at the drive-thru. While many people applauded Trump for the blue-collar campaign stop, Walz did not.
Apparently, he took a strong level of offense to what Trump did (shocker) and said that Trump somehow disrespected McDonald’s workers by spending 20 minutes tossing fries and handing out sacks of burgers.
“[Harris] actually worked at a McDonald’s, she didn't go and pander and disrespect McDonald's workers by standing there in your red tie and taking a picture,” Walz said.

Wait a minute, hold up. I don’t know how Trump getting in the trenches with people at a fast food restaurant is disrespectful, especially given that he was once the leader of the free world. Of course, it's part of a public relations plan to make him look good, but he looked genuinely engaged and excited to be there.

You know what is disrespectful to McDonald’s workers? Claiming that you worked there, when there's absolutely zero proof that you did. Surely, Kamala Harris would never do that, right?
Oh wait, she did.
And you know what’s even more disrespectful? Continuing to peddle the falsehood.
Oh wait, Walz - who has a habit of lying "misspeaking" - just did that.
I have a feeling McDonald’s workers are going to feel respected by one person, and not the other. I’ll let you be the judge of who is who.
Bah-dah-buh-bah-bah.
