It took less than a single week for the woke mob to turn on Caitlin Clark after she catered to them.
On December 10, TIME Magazine published a lengthy feature article about Clark, who plays point guard for the WNBA’s Indiana Fever. The publication named her the “Athlete of the Year,” and within the ensuing feature article came the first sign that Clark had caved to the woke mob.
“I want to say I’ve earned (all the attention and accolades), but as a white person, there is privilege,” Clark said in the article. “A lot of those players in the league that have been really good have been Black players. This league has kind of been built on them. The more we can appreciate that, highlight that, talk about that, and then continue to have brands and companies invest in those players that have made this league incredible, I think it’s very important. I have to continue to try to change that. The more we can elevate Black women, that’s going to be a beautiful thing.”
Darn it. The one sane person in the WNBA couldn’t stand against the league’s progressive mob. What a shame.
Exactly three days later, a team owner in the league is turning on Clark by saying that the league is more than just her.
"We have so much talent out there that has been unrecognized, and I don’t think we can pin it on just one player"

Washington Mystics co-owner Sheila Johnson speaks to @AmandaDCNN about TIME's decision to name Caitlin Clark "Athlete of the Year": https://t.co/nQL7NXosv7 pic.twitter.com/HjBjf0nlgX
"It has taken the WNBA almost 28 years to get to the point where we are now. And this year, something clicked with the WNBA, and it's because of the draft and the players that came in. It's not just Caitlin Clark, it's (Angel) Reese,” Washington Mystics co-owner Shelia Johnson said. "We have so much talent out there that has been unrecognized, and I don't think we can pin it on just one player."
This isn't a new narrative. The WNBA has been peddling this tone-deaf lie for a while. But for her to say it just three days after Clark gave in to the woke mob proves they don’t care about her.
Clark sold her soul to please people that think that she isn’t the reason why the WNBA was finally popular (editor’s note: she’s the only reason). Now that they have gotten her to believe the lie they want to push, they are just going to use her as a pawn in their narrative game.
You can never appease the woke mob, so you are better off just not giving into them in the first place. Clark found that out the hard way, but its not too late for her to change course.
