Journalists and Media Members Giving Huge $$$ to Clinton Campaign

Conservatives will often claim that members of the media are biased towards liberals. Now, there is proof.

According to a report done by the non-partisan group Center for Public Integrity, journalists, reporters, news anchors, and other members of the media have donated almost $400,000 to the Hillary Clinton's campaign, while giving just $14,000 to Donald Trump's campaign.

Federal law generally says that campaigns only have to disclose donations of over $200, so the amount given to the Clinton campaign is almost certainly much higher.

One example is "New Yorker" television critic Emily Nussbaum who, during the Republican National Convention, referred to Trump as “a misogynist shyster running an ugly and xenophobic campaign.” What she never disclosed, however, was that she gave $250 to the Clinton campaign in April.

Damien Brouillard, who is the Director of Finance and Comptroller at the "Washington Post," has given over $1,000 to the Clinton campaign.

There’s also Ellen Ratner, a Fox News commentator and White House Correspondent for Talk Radio News Service, who donated almost $2,800 to Clinton’s campaign.

To be fair, the report does show that there are journalists and other media members that have donated to the Clinton campaign who don’t cover anything political.

For example, Melia Robinson, a reporter for "Business Insider," has given over $500 to the Clinton campaign. However, she doesn’t report on anything relating to politics or political campaigns so there is no clear conflict of interest.

The fact remains, however, that the media has been so openly biased during this election that they are not hardly even bothering to hide it anymore. Such as how a CNN reporter tried to blame the recent firebombing of a North Carolina GOP office on Donald Trump himself.

The media has always been biased. Now, there is just proof of it.
