It’s a new dawn for pro-life Americans who were “unjustly imprisoned” by President Joe Biden’s Department of “Justice.” Now that his regime is ending, they’re taking it as an opportunity to seek true justice, both for the unborn and for themselves.

On Wednesday, the Thomas More Society sent a memo obtained by the Daily Wire, asking President-elect Donald Trump to pardon 21 pro-life defendants.

The group, a law firm centered around advocating for the unborn, attached each individual’s “respective plights and personal information” to its letter, “urg(ing) that all 21 of them detailed here are richly deserving of full and unconditional pardons.”

Their names are: Paul Vaughn, Coleman Boyd, Dennis Green, Eva Edl, James Zastrow, Paul Place, Heather Idoni, Eva Zastrow, Chester Gallagher, Calvin Zastrow, Joel Curry, Justin Philips, Lauren Handy, Paulette Harlow, Jean Marshall, Joan Bell, John Hinshaw, William Goodman, Jonathan Darnel, Fr. Fidelis Moscinski, and Bevelyn Beatty Williams.

“These peaceful pro-life Americans mistreated by Biden include grandparents, pastors, a Holocaust survivor, and a Catholic priest—all are selfless, sincere patriots,” wrote the firm.

The Holocaust survivor, 89-year-old Eva Edl, withstood the horrors of a communist death camp in Yugoslavia, only to face over 10 years in prison in the “free” nation she fled to.

“America, in my eyes, was this country of justice and opportunity and everything that is good,” she told the Daily Signal. “A beacon for us, over there, that didn’t know what all that meant, because we had nothing but oppression from whoever was ruling us at the time,” she said.

Little did Edl know she would be subjected to the same leftist authoritarianism she thought she had left behind.

Her crime? Protesting abortion businesses, which warrants a high charge under Biden’s re-interpretation of the FACE Act

The legislation prohibits instigators from threatening or using physical force to intimidate people out of expressing their right to religious freedom. But it also prohibits forceful attempts to interfere with so-called “reproductive health care services.”

Biden’s DOJ took that as an opportunity to apply the act unevenly.

Now that the sheriff is back in town, Pro-lifers and all others persecuted by the DOJ are betting on Trump’s promise to “rapidly review the cases of every political prisoner who’s unjustly victimized by the Biden regime…so we can get them out of the gulags and back to their families where they belong.”
