One school board representative in Cabarrus County, North Carolina had a viral meltdown because some members wanted to pray before meetings.
“HOW MUCH PRAYER DO YOU NEED?!” snapped Pam Escobar after Melanie Freeman, another member, introduced a resolution to reinstate their meeting opening prayer during their session in April.

“HOW MUCH GOD DO YOU NEED?!” Escobar continued in her fit of emotional diarrhea.
Apparently, she needs God more than anyone present, given that his very presence in the room warranted the verbal spewage of a demon being exercised. But most of all, the children affected by her loathsome leadership need all the prayers they can get.
Escobar managed to call praying “exclusionary,” charging her colleagues with violating school policy for committing the “disturbing” act in front of her. (As if the debate was about… I don’t know… forcing female students to use the restroom in front of men, or shelving pornography in the school library.)

She had even boasted that she conducted a head count of board members she caught praying before the session, complaining that she needed to know what they each were silently praying about in order for her to feel “welcome.”
“They didn’t come here to pray with you,” she lambasted the board, referring to the school employees its members represent.
“If you want to pray with them, take them to church. You want to be evangelical and do that? Go for it. But not on my time, not on their time, and not on this community’s time,” proclaimed the self-righteous representative.
Not even Cory Booker’s ramblings could top Escobar’s wannabe-Oscar speech, which sounded more like the song and dance of a frustrated theatre kid.
It’s no surprise, she used to be a local TV “journalist.”
