High school students across New York, of all states, are about to put the so-called “Women’s” March to shame.

New York’s “Walk for Fairness Day” plans to advocate for real women’s rights by leading a statewide school walkout against men in girls’ sports.

“Girls are being systematically canceled in this state, and ‘Walk Off for Fairness Day’ will give them a safe opportunity to make their voices heard,” said a spokeswoman for NY Coalition to Protect Kids, the group organizing the march.

“So many of these young women are afraid of speaking out, so they’re forced to watch as 50 years of female athletic progress gets washed away by destructive ideologues,” she added. “Girls are not second class citizens, so why are they being treated that way?”

According to a recent draft guidance issued by NY State’s Department of Education, all a male athlete has to do is “choose” to identify as female in order to compete on a girls’ sports team.

Hannah Pompeo, a 16-year soccer player at Eden High School near Buffalo called this a “huge disadvantage for girls,” in a statement obtained by the New York Post.

“It’s not right for boys to compete against girls in sports.” Pompeo, who is participating in the Walk Off for Fairness Day, continued.

Hence the protest’s name, “New Yorkers know what’s happening to Girls Sports isn’t fair,” added Tamara Marcella of Staying Woman TMM Global, a Coalition partner.

In fact, she cites a recent Siena College poll showing 66% of New Yorkers surveyed “want girls-only sports preserved in the state.”
