Can you guess why the leftist media is making a victim out of a self-identified Socialist who allegedly admitted to setting Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro’s on fire during Passover?

Shapiro, despite ringing his party’s woke whistles, is still a Jew, of course. And that apparently makes him as much of an appropriate target for leftist terrorism as a Trump-supporting Tesla driver.

Cody Balmer, an anorexic Osama Bin Laden lookalike proudly ratted himself out to 911 after firebombing the Governor’s mansion while his family was sleeping inside on Saturday, according to an arrest warrant obtained by PennLive.

Why? Because he wanted to make a statement that he was punishing Shapiro for “what he wants to do to the Palestinian people.”

The Governor was thrown under the bus by his own party in the Fall, after he dared to criticize Hamas supporters and called the targeting of Jewish businesses “blatant antisemitism.”

His accused attacker reportedly told 911 operators “our people have been put through too much by that monster,” which drove him to scale the mansion’s fence, using a hammer to break a window, and hurl Molotov cocktails inside.

Shapiro and his family were able to safely evacuate, to the dismay of the suspect who allegedly told cops he would’ve beaten the governor with his hammer had he found him during the attack.

“You all know where to find me. I’m not hiding, and I will confess to everything that I had done,” Balmer told 9/11, according to the warrant.

He faces up to 100 years in prison on charges of eight crimes, including attempted murder, burglary, aggravated arson, and terrorism.

“This kind of violence is becoming far too common in our society,” responded Shapiro during a press briefing the day after he was attacked.

“I don't give a damn if it's coming from one particular side or the other, directed at one particular party or another, or one particular person or another. It is not okay, and it has to stop,” he snapped.

Unfortunately, his party’s media mouthpieces care. CNN apparently believes we’re only allowed to consider “right wing” violence as violence. Balmer is, therefore, merely a downtrodden man who “had struggled,” according to ABC News.
