A pregnant mother is going viral on social media for sharing the heartbreaking reason why she refuses to abort her child, who has apparently been diagnosed with a medical condition that is likely going kill her shortly after birth.
And while it's not immediately clear when the clip was filmed, it's about as powerful as it could possibly be.

“This might be crazy, because I know she’s not going to survive anyways,” the mother began to share on a podcast.
“But I only have so much time with her," she reasoned. “Why should I cut it any shorter?”
The young mother explained that she’s “been following a million pro-life organizations on Instagram” and has “seen what an abortion looks like.”
“I don’t think I could bear to have her ripped piece by piece out of my womb and shorten the life that’s already so short, take her away from a spot where God has placed her in my hands, where she’s safe and she’s warm, and she only knows love and doesn’t know pain,” the young lady continued. “Why would I give her such a painful death, when she’s perfectly fine with me?”

“Today is the first day I felt her kick,” the mother went on.
“I already love her more," she said as she began to tear up, “more than I can express.”
“Feeling her kick is just…my baby was in there,” she continued, crying. “And I couldn’t bear the thought of having her removed."
In a society that actively legitimizes and even encourages moms whose children have been diagnosed with severe medical conditions and disabilities to abort their babies before they're even given a chance at life, it's refreshing to see at least one young mom reject infanticide in favor of the love that only a mother could know.
