Move over Gavin Newsom…

…and Sheila Kuehl...

…and Muriel Bowser...

…and Andrew Cuomo...

…and J.D. Pritzker…

…there’s a new(er) hypocrite in town.

It turns out San Francisco Mayor London Breed, yet another left-wing politician responsible for ordering the spate of COVID shutdowns that have crippled businesses and left millions of Americans on unemployment rolls and standing in bread lines, enjoyed her very own outing at the high-end French Laundry just one night after Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom hob-knobbed with the political elite despite his own COVID guidance to stay home and avoid people.

Breed visited the swanky Napa Valley restaurant – where reservations are made months in advance, and where dinner starts at $350 a person – the night of Nov. 7 to ring in socialite Gorretti Lo Lui’s 60th birthday. Eight people from an unknown number of households were in attendence, and the group partied it up in the same mostly-indoor room – complete with a CIVD-catching ceiling and chandelier to highlight the germs – as Newsom and his buddies.

Reports of Breed's not-so-quarantine party broke just as the mayor announced she will be implementing harsher restrictions on businesses, gatherings and public movement as COVID cases continue to spike in the local area, saying that while "it pains" her to do so, the crackdown is necessary to keep people "safe."

Meanwhile, according to tracktherecovery.org, the number of small businesses open in San Francisco has decreased by 43% since January as thousands of shops, restaurants and bars remain largely closed due by government mandate while local and state leaders dine with their friends on caviar and expensive wine.
