Fox Business host Lou Dobbs channeled his inner trash-talker on Wednesday concerning the “anonymous source” who penned the New York Times op-ed piece that was...uncomplimentary to President Trump.

In talking to guest Paul Bracken, a Yale University political science professor, Dobbs didn’t shy away from letting his audience know what he thought about the unnamed writer, who called themselves “Part of the Resistance” in the title of the NYT piece.

“I was shocked that the individual in question would not resign and put it under his own name,” Bracken told Dobbs.

“Anyone who would betray the man they work for, the President of the United States is a delusional, egomaniacal, self-aggrandizing jackass,” Dobbs responded. “I don’t see any other way to call it. I would think that that person would, I hope, stand out clearly among the top officials in the administration.”

One would hope that the writer in question would be easily stand out to the Trump administration. But, what if it’s all a ruse?

I’m not saying the New York Times is necessarily deceiving their readership in this case. What I am saying is that isn’t it in the realm of possibility that the writer is pulling the wool over the eyes of the Times?

It wouldn’t be the first time a news organization was made to look a fool, and it wouldn’t be the last  time either.
