Nobody expects much from USA Today. It’s shot through with liberal bias, LGBT activism, bad writing and even worse editing. But you don’t think the paper is making things up out of whole cloth, right?
Oh well. The New York Post on June 16 reported that now-former USA Today reporter Gabriela Miranda was intentionally fabricating sources in stories.
USA Today issued a statement on its website informing readers that after an audit of Miranda’s work, she had resigned and her articles deleted.
The audit revealed that “some individuals quoted were not affiliated with the organizations claimed and appeared to be fabricated. The existence of other individuals quoted could not be independently verified. In addition, some stories included quotes that should have been credited to others.”

Miranda wrote 23 offending articles that contained false information, which are now inaccessible. Some of these headlines include “Anti-vaxxer pushes urine therapy as 'COVID antidote' without scientific evidence,” “Campus ministry at Virginia Tech had its Pride flag stolen, replaced with Confederate flag,” and “Texas abortion ban could lead to stockpiling contraceptives and pregnancy tests.”
So she wrote lefty articles and assumed her lefty editors would find her stories too good to check.
According to the New York Times, Miranda allegedly attempted to take “steps to deceive investigators by producing false evidence of her news gathering, including recordings of interviews,” during the audit. The liar was caught red-handed and simply couldn’t stop lying. Truly the mark of journalistic integrity.
The liberal media love to slander conservatives about ‘misinformation,’ while ignoring it in their own backyard.
The media are turning a blind eye to violence against pregnancy clinics and the assassination attempt against Brett Kavanaugh.
