It just wouldn’t be a political event without Academy Award winning documentary director Michael Moore putting in his two cents.

As a lot of you may know, members of the Electoral College will be at state capitals across the nation on Monday to formally submit their electoral votes and declare Donald Trump President of the United States.

Moore, and other celebrities who don’t grasp how the Electoral College works, are trying to convince electors to ignore how people in the states Trump won voted and change their allegiance to election loser, Hillary Clinton.

In his desperate, last ditch, Hail Mary attempt to influence electors, Moore tweeted that he would gladly pay the fine for any elector in any state that fines its electors for changing their vote. Changing your vote is illegal in 26 states and Washington D.C.

Here’s the tweet:

It’s funny how Moore and others in the media jumped all over Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz for telling Republicans to “vote their conscience,” but then they reveal themselves to be total hypocrites when people like Moore tell Republicans to “vote their conscience” when it comes to casting their electoral vote for Trump.

Here’s one thing Moore and people like him don’t understand: Even though some Republicans did not like the choice of Trump for president, they absolutely hated the alternative.

And, by the way, is Moore implying that Republican voters didn’t “vote their conscience” in the general election? He is only trying to appeal to Republicans through compassion because, much like other special little snowflakes, Moore didn’t get his way when Trump won.

Moore continued his plea to Republicans through his Facebook page and completely contradicted himself… Shocker!

At one point, Moore wrote:

Tomorrow is the day you are supposed to gather with your fellow electors and choose the next President of the United States. I am not going to ask you to vote for the person who got the most votes (although I will not be upset should you chose to side with the majority of your fellow Americans and do so!).

No, I'm simply asking you to vote your conscience and PLEASE do not put our nation in danger by choosing Donald J. Trump.

So, Moore’s not asking Republicans to vote for Hillary, but he doesn’t want them to vote for Trump.

How does that work? Who else would the electors choose? Jill Stein? People are patient, but not patient enough to change their vote to the queen of wasting people’s time.

Michael, you need to get a grip. It’s over. You lost despite your best efforts. Now put on your very big boy pants and move on to your next factually incorrect documentary.
