Media Research Center President Brent Bozell said Wednesday's riots at the Capitol building ruined a legitimate protest over concerns about the election and the censorship of free speech.

Bozell said many are furious and feel the media and big tech censorship contributed to a stolen election.

"They're furious with the censorship of free speech that is taking place," Bozell told Fox Business Wednesday evening.

"It was controlled fury with the vast majority. One element went forward with lawlessness. It has done tremendous damage to everyone else."

"You can never countenance police being attacked. You cannot countenance our national capitol being breached like this. I think it is absolutely wrong," Bozell said.

Bozell said he didn't want to play a game of moral equivalence but if someone is criticizing today's criminal element, "they damn well better have criticized Antifa for the last year and Black Lives Matter for their lawlessness, their destruction of property, their killing of people. If they have done that they have every right to be critical."
